Repeat Prescriptions

PRESCRIPTION HUB

All our repeat prescriptions is managed by the PCN Prescription Hub. Here are their contact details:

The phone lines are open 10am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-5.30pm for queries.

Requests must be done in writing, either via the email above or paper requests at reception.

Please include the following:

  • Your name
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Your chosen chemist
  • The medication(s) you need

You can also use the NHS app to order your prescription. Sign up here.

You can now see and access your prescriptions electronically in the NHS App, allowing you to:

  • easily see the details of medicines/ items healthcare professionals have confirmed for you
  • use a prescription barcode to collect your medicine if you don’t have a nominated pharmacy, without needing to collect a paper prescription

This functionality is being rolled out gradually and will be available to all patients in England in early 2024.

Please note the following:

  • It takes 48 working hours to process a repeat prescription.
  • Requests received after 2.00pm will not start to be processed until the following working day – the pharmacy then needs at least a further 48 working hours to dispense the medication. Please contact your pharmacy for dispensing times.
  • Please remember to allow enough time – Saturdays and Sundays are not classed as working hours.
  • Please check the medication is correct before leaving the chemist.
